TREATMENT OPTIONS

As a Private Practice, fees are charged for all appointments (please ring for details).

These may be recovered under most private insurance schemes (please confirm with your insurer and the Practice before commencing treatment).

Referral by your doctor is not essential.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At your initial consultation a detailed case history will be taken, covering your current complaint, past medical history, any medications you may be on, your general health and lifestyle.

This is followed by a thorough examination, for which you may be accompanied by a chaperone. The problem areas will be considered in the context of your whole body.

By observing your posture, muscle balance, movements and by performing simple clinical investigations, a diagnosis can be reached and a treatment plan discussed with you.

Treatment is usually included in this initial session, and we require 45 minutes to 1 hour.  All subsequent follow up sessions last up to 30 minutes.
